Lewis Hamilton remains the odds-on favourite to win the 2019 Formula 1 season on the same day Ferrari reveal their new car, according to bookies Sportnation.bet

The 34-year-old Brit is still fancied to pass the chequered flag first and win his sixth Driver’s Championship at 4/6 while Sebastian Vettel, who was on show in Ferrari’s new release is some way behind at 16/5.

The two look set to battle it out just as they did last season but bookies believe it is Hamilton’s Mercedes car that once again has the upper-hand with them 8/13 favourites over the Italian manufacturer (13/5) for the Constructors Championship. Red Bull are next at 33/10 and odds of 200/1 suggest Renault and others will struggle to fill the podium.

A spokesman from Sportnation.bet said: “Ferrari may be making a fuss about their new car but the bookies remain unconvinced they can dethrone Hamilton in his quest for his 6th Championship.”
