The 2017-18 Champions League campaign is down to its last two teams, with holders Real Madrid setting up a final against either Liverpool.

For the first time since 1981, Real Madrid and Liverpool will compete in the final of the European Cup.

Two goals from Karim Benzema was enough as Real just about edged Bayern 4-3 over two semi-final legs.

Bayern were much improved after a disappointing 2-1 first-leg defeat, but a 2-2 draw in Madrid ensured Zinedine Zidane’s men reached their third final in three years.

Italian side Roma pulled off one of the greatest Champions League knockout stuns in history in the quarter-finals against Barcelona – a 3-0 second-leg home win after a 4-1 away defeat – however were not able to  pull off a same outcome against  Liverpool at Rome with Liverpool having a three-goal advantage position following a 5-2 triumph at Anfield.
